Just arrived home from a 2 night stay at the woodlands hotel . Receptionist holly is very friendly and welcoming also helpful with information on places to visit. All the breakfast staff are polite everyone makes you feel welcome. Rooms are clean warm and comfortable Ideal base for lakes and towns . Did not want to leave will definatley stay again.

Great staff. Room 14 has a strange lock on the door, not easy to open. Room was small but ok for 1 night. Lovely breakfast. Parking is ok if you're there early, no spaces left when I got there.

Great stay

Beautiful stay. Great location, beds comfy and breakfast is great. All the staff are really nice and hard working too. Only downside is the noise from other guests either walking around their rooms, banging doors or snoring next door.

Comfortable place to stay.. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the full English breakfast was excellent.. Would stop again.. Easy to walk to Windermere town, and not far to Bowness. Overall, it was a great value stay..
