"The house is beautiful and very well located. All of the rooms had their individual charm and 14 of us stayed here very comfortably. The house is very well equipped with everything you’d need to cook, clean, entertain. It’s a short walk to the harbour with lots of nice walks and an excellent choice of pubs/restaurants. Deanna was the perfect host. Super warm, friendly and generous! We hope to visit again! "

"Breakfast was great. Hot, served fast and flexible. The staff in the restaurant were great. Compliments to the chef. The only thing we found was a difficulty with the television. You had to stand right in front of it and hold the 'on button for about 30 seconds before it would come on. Also, it was difficult to change channels, especially getting to number 1. It wiould have been nice to have instructions if that is normal and a list of channels available. "

"We enjoyed our stay the beds are comfy, rooms clean, staff were great, the area was great for our purpose and the food in the restaurant freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Plenty of parking available and the manager kept on top of everything. Well run establishment. My only issue was that I had an accessible room and the window let traffic noise in which disturbed me at night and there is no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries etc"

"We only saw one member of staff who was friendly and cooked a lovely English breakfast and that was what stopped me from writing a terrible r review… The condition of the B&B is really poor, rotten window frame that didn’t close, uncomfortable bed, extension leads hanging from a tv that only had 1 channel…I won’t comment what was in the shower tray but I didn’t use it…"

"The room was a nice size but needs improvement one of the lampshades was missing from the bedside lamp so was just a light bulb I did report to reception but was not repaired one of the windows had duck tape holding the glass in place these are things that could be easily fixed The hotel it’s self is very clean and the staff are friendly there is a bar that had live entertainment on the Friday night The room we had has a nice view of the sea and had tea and coffee facilities and bottled water daily "

"We had a great stay but would make the following comments: Direction error - the road was Grange Road still when it said St Augustine’s Parking was not easy. The road was always full and we had a park some way away. Toilet not working - this didn’t matter too much as there are two toilets but we did not know. Hand soap - none Washing up liquid - none No water glasses - only wine and champagne glasses Chalk/triangle for the pool table would have been good. The instructions on the heating were also not accurate. It’s a great place though. Lovely to have the pool table and all the games and great position overlooking the sea."

"The house is beautifully decorated; the beds and linen wonderfully comfortable; loads of fluffy towels; the kitchen offering everything we needed and the information about everything comprehensive. The walk to the harbour and beach was just right. I can't recommend this property highly enough."
