"Booked just a couple of hours ahead post a week in Cornwall and wanting to see Exeter before heading home Sunday. Great location and handy for stations, the quayside area and shops. We saw the cathedral and visited the super underground passages. Also took the train to Exmouth. Breakfast was included but was SO busy and queues were v long. Staff worked hard managing this v professionally but I felt for them as it simply was chaotic! Ok quality though but I prefer no dogs in the dining area even if they are staying in the hotel. One was barking :( We didn’t realise we had to pay for parking - £16 for a 24 hour stay - no guarantee of a spot either but we were lucky but bear that in mind. Air con was good on a hot night. "

The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal for exploring, but also offered a peaceful retreat when we wanted to unwind. "This is a great hotel within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was large and clean, had a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom. It was also very quiet which is a bonus! Staff were very friendly and informative. Parking was included for an extra charge. We will certainly stay there again when visiting Exeter! "
