"First of all the property was amazing. The pub/restaurant was cozy and beautiful. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had issues with our tv and also transportation issues due to train strikes. The staff helped us immediately and made our stay very enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing. Thank you !!"

"We have stayed here many times and always found it to be excellent. Staff are friendly and always welcome our dog with cuddles and treats. However this time we did not enjoy staying in the family room which for two oldies was very noisy and outside lights in the yard on all night. Hasn’t put us off but will only book direct in future to ensure we get a room we want. "

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...
