Reception staff were all friendly and welcoming and the hotel is as clean as it can be, given that it desperately needs refurbishment. The room was large, linen was spotless. Plenty of tea and coffee provided.

The room was fine for my one night stay, i didnt use facilities as it was only a 15 min walk or so into the town. The bathroom shower head was really small so it didnt throw much water out tbh. I was next to one of the exit doors, they do need a soft close on them as they did bang really loud, also could do with a fan as the window only opens about a few inches, it just needs a few tweeks.

We stayed here for a late overnight stay on our way to Plymouth. We couldn't check in until after 22.30 and this was not a problem as the hotel has a 24 hour reception. The room although a little dated was clean, a lovely size and my daughter and I had a wonderful night's sleep. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for breakfast as we needed to leave early to get to our destination, however the food on the menu did look appetising. I would recommend this hotel, and it's definitely somewhere I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a little outdated but it's adding a nice character to the room. End of the day the room is spacious, super clean and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with supplies like hand wash, moisturiser and shower gel. Coffee tea tray with yummy biscuits. Highly recommended
