"We had originally booked a 4-night stay at the SCP Colorado Springs Hotel but had to leave after the 2nd night. The property looks like a refurbished motel and boasts an environmentally friendly vision. Air conditioning is set at 65 but feels like much higher! (air from outside is much cooler but it does not seem safe to sleep with the door open!) A sliding barn door was used as a bathroom door but, because the door was too long, it did not slide smoothly and would get stuck and drag on the...

"The beds were comfortable and clean; however the comforters were tired looking. The room was generally clean. TVs are okay. The carpets need shampooing, the bathroom walls needed better cleaning but we were comfortable. Frig, micro, drip coffee pot so we brewed our own. Iron and ironing board. I say all that because I think it was over priced at $129.00/night before taxes. The breakfast was typical: powdered, watery eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, pastries, coffee, juice....
