Topsail island offers a lot to the tourist looking for a quieter beach experience. Hard to explain, but many people I talk to speak of how they have been coming for decades, and it's they prefer here over any other beach trip destination. This is the view from the north tip of Topsail. Slowly giving itself back to the sea this part of the island doesn't have a long life to go. To the north is Camp Lejeune, a marine base.
