"This place was so clean! It was spacious, the mattress is so comfy, shower had nice pressure and warm water, small kitchenette is definitely an added benefit, lots of retail close by if you need anything but not enough to run the beach vibe. The beach is about 1 mile away and is pristine! We loved it! "

"Beautiful home in the perfect location. A short walk across the driveway to the beach and pool access is perfect with views of the beach from the decks. The owner is great to work with. We had an emergency and we were able to switch weeks without a problem. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beds are all dreamy and so so comfortable. Having a high chair was a great perk and we enjoyed sitting on the deck for hours every day. It was nice the top deck in front is covered because we were able to sit outside the days we had rain. During our stay the hot tub needed to be serviced and one quick message to the owner and the hot tub technician showed up the next morning. We would love to stay at this properly again someday. "
"Our extended family had a wonderful week together in this house. It was the perfect size for our crew of 15 people - we never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for relaxing and dining together on the main floor. The 3 balconies also allowed for plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Each bedroom had a full bathroom which was also excellent!! Note that the bedroom on the main floor has a bunk bed in it/is not exactly a “primary” bedroom (in case you are, like us, planning for a grandparent to use that room. :)) but it was totally fine. We loved the pool and hot tub, which kept us busy in between trips down to the beach! Both were serviced during our visit which ensured they were clean and well taken care of. This was our first time staying on the north side of the island and we greatly enjoyed it. Although it was further to get to Surf City, there is convenient shopping on the mainland in Sneads Ferry. The beach was lovely and not too crowded at all.There were some general upkeep needs with the house, as is common in these vacation rentals. One thing to note is the stairway down to the beach has a section that seems to be temporarily patched and doesn’t have handrails. We ended up buying bags of ice because the fridge ice maker is broken and while there are two table top ice makers, they didn’t make enough for our large crew. Not a huge deal but just to be aware.Kyle was extremely communicative and helpful. We loved our stay and highly recommend to other families!!:)"
