"We originally had a deluxe double however on check in realised it didn't have a shower, was a bit misleading on the hotel pages as it says 'bath or shower' so could have been a bit clearer. "After reading some of the negative reviews we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were helpful and attentive and actually went above and beyond. Overall the property is a little dated and and in one of our rooms the tv wasn't working properly and in another the the lightbulbs needed replacing but it's clean, the beds are comfy and it's close to town. Would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and calming, the trees blowing in the wind around us was a calming lovely sound. Our only issue was the kettle leaking every time you poured a drink and the fitted sheet was not big enough for the bed as soon as got on the bed it came off the mattress when trying to put back on you could get one side down but it pulled it away from other end so bigger fitted sheet and definitely deeper fit other than this it was amazing and just what we needed "
