The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. The Inn is ideally located for York, just a ten minute walk in. I would highly recommend staying here and should I be lucky enough to return to York, this is where I would book again.

This hotel was a bit on the worn side. Our room was spacious, yet looked pretty beat. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Beware that there is no elevator and the 3rd floor is accessible only by a narrow and steep staircase…. The manager was very friendly and mentioned that they offer breakfast, but we chose to eat outside.

Very beautifully decorated room and very friendly host. Short walk to directly to the city centre and nice shops, cafes, etc. along the way. There is a bit of traffic and noise from the road, but I slept very well, and would ask for a room on the garden side if there's a need for more quiet. Would stay there again and recommend.

Lovely hotel

Amazing facilities. Room was beautifullly decorated, and clean and hosts were lovely. The short and easy walk into the city made it a great base for the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful - and they do great breakfasts! We normally stay at cheap chain hotels but after reading the reviews on this one we decided to give it a try and are pleased we did.
