The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. The Inn is ideally located for York, just a ten minute walk in. I would highly recommend staying here and should I be lucky enough to return to York, this is where I would book again.

Very beautifully decorated room and very friendly host. Short walk to directly to the city centre and nice shops, cafes, etc. along the way. There is a bit of traffic and noise from the road, but I slept very well, and would ask for a room on the garden side if there's a need for more quiet. Would stay there again and recommend.

Really lovely room, very reasonable price, absolutely fantastic staff, and an all in all wonderful experience. Absolutely loved our stay at the Burton Stone! Inn was very walkable from both the York station and the town centre (10 minutes respectively in each direction). While the check in process was a little confusing Michael, the inn keeper, was super helpful and even gave us some recommendations on food and things to do in the area! Not only would we stay at the Burton Stone again should we return to York, we would also recommend this accommodation to any who are also visiting!
