Find hotels near Shinobazu Pond, Tokyo from SAR 235

"Hotel is located across the street from Ueno park near the pond (south end). Convenient for park access but pretty far away from the subway and train lines. Meaning about a 7-10 minute walk and if it’s raining, it’s not the best experience to walk. Taxi to the hotel from the train station is about 800yen and about 5 minutes. The hotel runs along a street with a lot of bars and escorts lining nakacho-dori which can be overwhelming if you’re with young children. Public bath was nice with inside and outside sections to enjoy the view the park. Room size was decent if you’re in a suite. Bigger than other Japan hotels for sure. Good place but if I were to stay in Ueno again, I would stay closer to a train station stop. "

"Small, good if traveling light. Had small bugs flying around. Because the check in was automated didnt get too much info on amenities. Not sure if there was even a water refill station. Convenient location. Appreciated baggage storage after checkout so we could explore more of the area before leaving. "

"We have a great stay! The room was clean, they have a gym, laundry, and common space/area with tables and microwave. I would definitely recommend to book with breakfast buffet, it was great and saves if you reserved ahead. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Also great location, very close to ueno station and ueno park. Definitely recommend!"

"Cozy room in a quiet hotel less than 10 minutes walk from Ueno station, numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Comfy bed, decent shower. Not much room for storing bags and limited hanger space, though that seems to be typical for hotels here!"

"Room was incredibly clean and cleaned daily. I didn’t mind it, but in case someone else does, the private room we had, the bathroom had a step that was about a foot off the ground. The bed was big enough for two less than 6 feet tall people, but the mattress is a little stiff. Staff were all incredibly helpful and super kind. Hotel has free WiFi, and was very fast. Kitchen area was easy to use and had a lot of accessibility. Overall though, would stay here again as it is a 20 minute walk to Ueno Station. Very accessible!"
