"Nice hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our stay"

"Some good, some bad... We arrived late in the evening and had a nice welcome. There were some petit fours in our room and it looked very attractive, if very cold. The bed and bed linen was good and the (small) bathroom attractively fitted out. But beneath the surface there are obvious problems. The foyer had a bad damp smell. The heating consists of an air conditioning unit in each room, which was noisy and not particularly effective. The electric towel rail did not heat up. The coldness...

"Staff made the experience - they were exceptional. Really helpful and friendly. Having the garden gate opening directly onto the New Forest was a huge bonus, especially as we were travelling with our dog."

"Le cachet et la gentiesse du personel. Mis a part un probleme de drain de douche qui a été régler rapidement tout étais parfait"

"The Chilworth Manor is set in parkland adjacent to the Southampton Science park, so is quiet with plenty of space for car parking (though it can be a bit dark walking from car to hotel). The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."

"Staff are very friendly"

"This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"regarding our family's stay at Kings Head on the night of 21st October 2026. What should have been a joyful celebration of my husband’s graduation turned into a distressing and medically unsafe experience for our family. Upon arrival, we discovered that there was no heating functioning in our room. As we explicitly informed both the manager and another member of staff at check-in, our two young daughters have sickle cell disease. Cold temperatures are a direct physical trigger for severe sickle...
