"Our room was very clean, had a beautiful view of the harbor with all the boats, had an elevator, restaurant which has excellent food and very reasonable, would definitely recommend and stay there again"

"Rooms are dated but super clean, in good condition, and an amazing hot shower. Staff very helpful and acted quickly when requested a couple of extra pillows. Located on Seward street so occasional trucks go by but not really loud or affect our slumber. Slept great! Walkable to the marina, close to railroad and Cruise port. Would stay again!"

"The property staff are very friendly. However, the property itself has not been updated since the 80’s, including the bedding. The rooms are very Spartan, though they do have a mini fridge. No air conditioning, which is problematic in the summer. If the windows open, you can hear the noises from the street. It is a quick walk to the docks, however, though no views of the ocean from any of the rooms that I could tell. The rooms themselves are extremely expensive for the very limited amenities. "

"This was a perfect place for my daughter, grandkids, and I. The lodge is beautiful, clean, our room a great fit, and the owners are there to help if you need. The kitchen is there for you to whip up your meal. We just should have remembered to bring our to go coffee mugs."

"The staff were accommodating, however when the train arrives at 11.30 and the check in time is 4 pm and it is very often wet, it can be a long wait. The room was comfortable even though a bit too warm. The bar and restaurant were very good. Over all a positive and enjoyable stay. Great hot water. "
