"If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone...

"Provided train station pickup and a brief tour of the Town including their riverside park (view of Alaska Range and Denali was spectacular!), Talkeetna museum and historic restaurant areas all a short walk from the hotel. Family owned and operated with newer, clean individual cabins. Great location and great stay. Highly Recommend."

"think about this only if you want to experience the wild side of alaska, property is a cabin with no running water and no bathroom, no toilet, it is just a wood space outside the cabin that serves as a rustic toilet. for one or two nights is ok, longer than that think about it. besides that at the last minute the owner informs us that a 4x4 vehicle is needed to reach the property location cause to get to it you have to drive through a dirt road with a very steep ridge, BE AWARE !"

Would absolutely stay here again and recommend for anyone coming through the Denali area that doesn’t want a tradition lounge experience."
