"When I had booked, previous reviews said the Seward Hotel was old & dated, so I was expecting historical character. The hotel has been tastefully renovated! The bed was blissfully comfortable. The Service from the lovely young lady at Reception was impeccable, even though they had only be opened 10 days since the Reno & it was a very busy day with 2 cruise ships in. The shuttle bus driver really deserves a good tip With his pleasant demeanour & bag lifting skills & commentary. "

"Rooms are dated but super clean, in good condition, and an amazing hot shower. Staff very helpful and acted quickly when requested a couple of extra pillows. Located on Seward street so occasional trucks go by but not really loud or affect our slumber. Slept great! Walkable to the marina, close to railroad and Cruise port. Would stay again!"
