Very clean and very helpful in arranging transportation. Thermostat only allowed heat and we had to open a window to cool the room down.

Walking distance to the harbor and downtown. Right off the free shuttle route. Staff was great. Beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable.

Quiet and relaxing. Great if traveling without a car as is 1/2 way between train station and the downtown area. It is also right on the free shuttle route with a convenient stop, so is easy to get to Safeway grocery store at far end of town There is a fridge and microwave in the room! The front desk staff is delightful and offer free bear spray. Mount Marathon and Twin Lakes trails as well as paved trail all along Resurection Bay are all 1-2 blocks away. There is a laundrymat nearby and many restaurants within walking distance (or shuttle service).

Below standards.

The toilet seat was soiled upon arrival. extra pillows were in the drawer and not on the bed. had to ask for them after an uncomfortable night of sleep and were told they were in the dresser. Activities were within walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly. Photos are deceiving. rooms are cramped and small. We had a room with one queen.

Clean property, cute on the outside and nice deck. Enough parking spots. Check-in was smooth and easy. Rooms would benefit from the addition of a sheer curtain. Window facing the front is a blackout curtain. If the curtain is open, anyone walking by can see inside. Price is expensive for an inn, however pricing is in line with other properties for this time of year. The bed cover could be updated. Overall, would stay again at this property and recommend it to others. Can walk to downtown area or boat harbor area.

Expedia somewhat misrepresented it, as it is not on the harbor and has no view. Further, I understood from Expedia's website it had a dining facility, but it does not. However, it was friendly and comfortable with easy access for our heavy suitcases.

I had no idea what I was booking and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place was clean & comfortable. It was exactly what we needed the night before boarding a cruise through Alaska. The staff was super friendly & helpful. They offered to hold our luggage while we walked about town waiting for our room. The room ended up being ready early. We took a train in from Anchorage and the only problem I had was my phone didn't have any signal at the train station and I didn't know there was a free shuttle that would take me within yards of the hotel. We endede up walking a mile to the hotel.
The place is simple but exactly what you need. Clean, comfortable and convently located about a mile from the train station and the dock.

Clean and had all the things you really need and none of the things you don’t. People come to Seward to be outside, not hotel chic. Property was maintained and rooms are basic. I would stay again. Great location. Can walk to town.

The property staff are very friendly. However, the property itself has not been updated since the 80’s, including the bedding. The rooms are very Spartan, though they do have a mini fridge. No air conditioning, which is problematic in the summer. If the windows open, you can hear the noises from the street. It is a quick walk to the docks, however, though no views of the ocean from any of the rooms that I could tell. The rooms themselves are extremely expensive for the very limited amenities.
