"It's location must be it's selling point. Lovely seaviews & sunset watching point. Great to hear the waves from our room. Burger meal in restaurant and breakfast roll good. Easy, available car parking on site. Pleasant staff. Definitely not a 4*, more like a nice 3*. Such a shame re the tatty paintwork from room doorways and corridors to include outside. Looks a bit tired in places generally. Tiny room, tiny shower. Mattress, work boots, empty cardboard box all left in the corridor outside...

"A Few Things That Could Be IMPROVED I would like to warn future guests who are planning to use the swimming pool and spa facilities about something that we found very inconvenient during our stay. There is no direct indoor access connecting the accommodation (the apartments) to the swimming pool and spa area. Bathrobes are not provided either. "Lovely and very clean place. We were taken care by owner very well. Lovely lady ❤️"

"Cannot fault the Halfway House Pub. Stayed here for 4 nights..Friendly welcome shown our room by Mike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room was excellent spotless and uensuite was great. Breakfast was very good. Ate here twice in the evening and food was excellent. Great evening spent listening to the Sea Shanty choir. Dog friendly.. No car park but public car park £5 for 24 hours. Will definitely be staying again. Thanks to all staff at the Halfway House."

"Staff incredibly helpful from Manager to the cleaner- great breakfast"

"Beautiful location and building."

"It is a big apartment. Everything is there. Specially the kitchen with an oven. Perfect bed. Only the neighbourhood is a bit poor. But a small supermarket just round the corner. Breakfast included is basic."

"Eveything was perfect ,unless they have not provided any toileteries ..."

"We had a lovely stay at this pretty and comfortable pod. Jean was very helpful and friendly and pod was very well equipped and laid out. No wasted space but plenty of room. Great shower, oodles of hot water and plenty of power points. Wi-Fi excellent and plenty of cosy touches. Thoroughly recommend for those who want a property that’s tucked away but the host is at the farmhouse nearby. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay and cuddles with your dogs!"

"Lovely house with everything you could need included."
