"The staff really shine at the Beaufort Hotel. They were welcoming and accommodating. The hotel itself has a charming pub and nice restaurant if you want a convenient meal. We used the hotel as quick one night stay overs on our trip to Skye. The hotel has also made nice upgrades to some rooms recently as well. The Beaufort is a nice solid stay. "

"A luxury hotel that absolutely earns that title and meets the standard that you would expect. Even though the hotel property is not very far from the town of Pitlochry--walking into town and back is no great strain--the property envelopes you in calm and luxury. The woodland paths create distance between you and the mad world. The lobby full of sofas and stuffed chairs invites a lingering stay--a book and an afternoon are all you need. We stayed in a fairly basic room, but it was immaculate and luxurious, with lush and peaceful views down the valley. The staff are exceptional--we were greeted with samples of the hotel's whisky liqueur, which itself was perfect. We enjoyed the "gym" facilities downstairs. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional. After our travels, it was like walking into another world entirely. And the building itself is beautiful. I can't say enough about the experience."

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming the room was basic but clean and had everything we needed we had room 1 and the beds were small but very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cheap no frills stay in Oban,also great location for ferry and train station."
