"What an amazing place to stay!! I was looking for a hotel near the waterfront before we went on a cruise. The staff was so welcoming, the hotel had such a lovely old world charm to it. We try to avoid stayiing in chains when we travel, this was a gem! We were able to walk to different areas of the city, felt like we were staying in a local neighborhood, not in a tourist area. It's so close to the ocean that the lack of AC wasn't a problem when it was very hot during the day. the location makes the city within walking distance with quaint restaurants and shops near you and transportation so very close.
