"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"This is a fantastic place. The beauty of the property and surrounding mountains and valleys is stunning. Once there you almost don´t want to leave for any day trips. Usually pictures are better than the reality. This time it was the other way around. And the pics already were great. The pool on the property is golden. Really clean and nice. "I knew instantly when I saw the listing for this Villa that it stood apart from the others! In person though it is even more beautiful! The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. "Overall a great place to stay. The hill up to the property and track down are challenging so you will need a car and be a confident driver. Local restaurant was fantastic and only 5 min car trip away. Villa is high quality and in great position for views and pool a very good size. Local town has everything you need and supermarket great for those who want to cook in the villa."

"Our time in Tuscany was absolutely wonderful, Franco was such a great host, he had a snack and a beverage waiting for us and it was a pleasure to visit with him. "We had a lovely time staying here in Cantagrillo. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We were able to easily get on bus to Pistoia and train station for travel.
