"Great place to stay, better for mature adults then children . The double bed rooms were efficient but lack storage. No indoor lunch options in bad weather, but indoor available for breakfast and dinner. GREAT GREAT GREAT SERVICE!!!!!!! Very close to the island entrance as well."

"Such a beautiful view of the beach. I noticed several extra touches within the beautiful Matthew’s lodge. The shells were plentiful. Can’t wait to return."

"Beautiful grounds, restaurant and bar very nice, good beach access"

"Makes you feel at home. Impeccably kept. Joe and Maureen give attention to details and think of guest convenience and hospitality. Excellent location. Steps from beach and little stores. Sanibel is gorgeous and chill, and so is Tarpon Tales Inn."

"We stayed in cottage #5, the Hideaway. It was incredibly clean, well maintained, had plenty of extra items if we needed them, and the property was very centrally located to anything we may have needed on the Island."

"We had a beach view and it was lovely. We would sit outside for our morning coffee and the view was lovely. I think I was most impressed with the front desk. I regret forgetting his name but he was so informative with every question we had. It was such a wonderful time and looking forward to our next get away."

"The cottage was well stocked with all we needed. It was also immaculate with a lovely garden. The beach was a 5 minute walk."

"The only thing that was a bit frustrating is that we requested clean service but for some reason we don’t know, we did not have it during our stay."

"The property was in excellent shape and exceptionally clean. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient (enjoyed the complimentary margaritas upon check-in!), and the valet was quick to produce our car. The waitstaff at the pool were friendly and informative. There was one overcharging error, but they rectified it quickly when we brought it to their attention. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!"
