"Location close to campus makes this hotel a great choice. It is not only a block from UCB, but the BART station is right next door. My room was nice and modern. My only suggestion would be to include a hot water kettle and some tea selections."

"We were very pleasantly surprised in several aspects of our visit. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and proactive in ensuring our room wouldn't have any down bedding (due to allergies), which was very much appreciated. When we got into our room, it just smelled so fresh and clean, and the room layout felt incredibly spacious for 350sqft. We only stayed one night but had we stayed longer, there was plenty of closet space and bathroom storage to comfortably stay without the room feeling cluttered. A really cool feature was also the TV swivel mount, which allowed the TV to be seen from pretty much anywhere in the room. The only issues we ran into was when using the hot tub. The hot tub itself was great, there just weren't any clean pool towels in the storage rack, only used towels strung around the pool area. It was warm enough the evening of our stay that we just shook off after and were ok without towels, but when we tried to get back into the building from the pool area with our key card, it didn't work and we couldn't get back in through that door. So we left through the outer emergency exit gate and entered through a different door with our key card just fine. Totally forgot to tell the front desk about it the next morning, because honestly with how great everything else was, it slipped my mind until I thought of it in writing this review. All in all, we would highly recommend this treasure of a place and we'd definitely stay here again."
