"I've stayed at Hotel Luna Llena twice since 2024, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in Tamarindo. This charming little oasis tucked into the jungle offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere just a short walk from the beach and everything the town has to offer. The included breakfast is simple but satisfying, with delicious coffee and my personal favorite—the pancakes! On my most recent visit, I stayed in one of the bungalow rooms, which featured a cozy, round design and a small kitchenette that came in handy. The property is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I’ll definitely be coming back! The pool is focal point and just wonderful to float around in."

"The Hideaway is great. The staff is wonderful, the proper is beautiful and the food is delicious. Our only issue was slow toilet flushing but that was minor compared to all of the wonderful things we found at the Hideaway. There’s a very sweet iguana that hangs by the patio. We named him Esteban and enjoyed seeing him each morning. "

The grounds are breathtaking and as a small boutique hotel, it is a quiet refuge located at the very end of the busy Tamarindo strip.
