The nature and wildlife is amazing and they do an excellent job to keep guests comfortable even though you are nearly in the rainforest. Sitting by the pool as the sun began to go down and all the lights were on was simply beautiful! The hotel is on a big hill, so while I did do a lot of walking because town is very close - that may not be for everyone! "

"We felt so welcome and pampered at this gorgeous resort. We were greeted and helped with our luggage, the Staff took care of our meal orders , grabbed extra towels for our excursion, made beautiful drinks. The rooms had a lovely view of the river and the sound lulled us to sleep. Gorgeous spot!"

"We stayed here on a family vacation with our kids and their 9 month old child. The resort had a pack and play available as well as fridge and microwave. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helped arrange taxi service to the Mayan ruins and calico jacks for zip lining. There are several dining options within easy walking distance and we felt very safe in the area. Residents of the area are very warm and welcoming. The pool bar was a welcome sight at the end of a busy day. "
