"Gaia was INCREDIBLE. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, the scenery is stunning, and yet the best part is the fantastic service. We felt like friends with Freddy and Javier by the time we left. Greg was also a wonderful tour guide. And Colby helped us decide on and book adventures. They all made us feel right at home! un fact, they didn’t let us check in until we’d had a welcome drink and sat down for a lovely candlelit dinner. And speaking of the restaurant - the food and drinks...

"An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!"

3.0 star property

"Our stay was AMAZING!! Mark made our visit so personal and warm, he’s the best. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "

Rumors Resort Hotel
3.0 star property

"This is our second stay at Rumors. Overall, the property is clean, but definitely in need of maintenance. The shower could use some remodeling and fresh paint. The pool, which use to be an amazing infinity pool, was closed in and you no longer get a view, so it was a bit disappointing. However the staff is nice, the music and the drinks are still great, and it's a chill place to hang out. There's road construction going on, so there was dust everywhere, though that isnt the property's...

"The best place to stay in San Ignacio!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, a little oasis just outside of the town center. The rooms were so clean and the AC was strong which we needed. "It was pretty good overall. The AC worked very good, clean rooms, fun pool. We took a early tour at 7am and their restaurant had our pre ordered breakfast ready at 6:30am. Perfect Grocery store and chiken restaurant across the street. We stayed at a family cabana ( 2 rooms ), There was a few issues, the hot water was not working in one of the bathrooms, The mini fridge wasn't working in one of the rooms. But since we were a big family sharing 2 rooms we managed, no problem. Overall I...
