"Lovely place. Amazing views and they have done a great job with the outside eating spaces. Staff all brilliant in terms of work ethic and service. Food was ok, portion sizes huge so if you have hollow legs you’ll love it. Downside was being in a room right next to the cellar delivery in the morning. Made so much noise we might as well had helped them unload the kegs. And in no universe is that room worth £240 for a night with no breakfast. Totally overpriced "
"Had a great stay, accommodation was excellent in every way

This place is also near whitby which is where we visited but we have also visited Saltburn before and that is equally as beautiful and a nice place to visit as Whitby is.
"The decor was unusual and interesting. The food was excellent. Having a garden to sit in and have drinks and food outside was also good. Staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely go back and stay."
"We had two nights at this hotel based on the excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. Everything was exemplary. The room was spacious with probably the most comfortable bed we've slept in for ages. The food was equally good: nothing too fancy but perfectly cooked and piping hot. The same goes for breakfast. And if you like your beer, the Timothy Taylors Landlord was perfectly stored and served.
The location is superb - easy driving distance from Saltburn down to Whitby and beyond. If you prefer, you can leave the car and travel by bus with regular buses going along the coast.
Service by every single staff member was excellent - smiling, helpful and engaging. We hope to return again and highly recommend this lovely inn. "
"Great value helpful hard working staff, and a very hot and good Full English breakfast.
The staff were very good , but I think if they had a hotel uniform, it would lift the hotel up a level."
"Absolutely lovely stay, the bed was so comfortable and the suite smelt beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The Bath in our suite was such a gorgeous feature and so relaxing. We will definitely come back for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the country "
Top Gallant Holiday Cottage Runswick Bay with great beach and sea views
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderfully situated, spotless and cleverly converted cottage in beautiful Runswick Bay. Breathtaking views from the patio which has room enough to dine. Simply perfect. "
Easily accessible, single level, 3-bed cottage close to beach, shops & eateries!

"Very quaint cottage in a prime location. Slight issue with access as my husbands wheelchair was too wide to get into wet room but Jon and Shona with the help of their friend Phill came to the rescue. They went above and beyond to help and were excellent hosts, thank you . It would not put us off returning. "
