"The house was everything i wanted but not so accesible to the train station, closer to the bus station but kinda hard to figure bus rides for me. I would stay here again esp if i was with a group, it makes tou really fell like youre in Kyoto, my favorite part is the ofuro, the bath on its own is so great and the jap garden."

"Loved staying here for the cultural experience. It is very authentic - it makes you feel as if you have travelled back in time! There is a beautiful little garden and the o-furo is very relaxing. The futons were top quality super comfy too! The land-lady is very lovely and a wonderful host. "Good experience to stay in traditional Japanese house.clean and kitchen well equipped. Washing machine was convenient. Due to it being an older building, insulation isn’t very good and gets very cold in the winter and need heaters in all rooms. Location is not great as it is walking distance to most places. Bus stop 7 minute walk. Could have provided more furniture such as chairs. Overall nice experience besides being on the cold side."
