"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"It’s a lovely japenese style guest house that gives you the full Nihong go experience. Not to far from Kyoto station and many little restaurants. It’s also very close to Nishihongwanji Temple which I think is beautiful and other temples. You’ve got a laundrymat at 7 mins by foot and a Presco (little supermarket). The staff was fabulous. "I stayed at Suzuki Guesthouse for three nights while visiting Kyoto. The staff is kind and help you as much as possible for any demand! There are a few nearby activities that will liven up your experience, and it's easy to get anywhere in Kyoto from Suzuki Guesthouse. Beds are very comfortable. Living room is welcoming. "The room was bigger than expected, with a coffemaker. It was nice to have high ceiling in the room. The location was very convenient, close to a JR train station and close to a supermarket. Also close to a public bath (sento). It was quiet at night, we had a good sleep. Very friendly staff. Also liked the bread and jams in the morning. Would stay there again!"

"This place is a very old traditional house. It’s really unique. I couldn’t fault it. Maybe the only thing I would say was it was a little hot in the room. But I guess this is Japanese summer. Our room was on top floor with high ceiling. So it couldn’t be helped. The price is excellent, it’s clean and traditional. What more could you want?"
