"Beautiful well equipped cottage in a prime location for walks and local pub. The Cottage fully met our requirements as a large adult family and one very small dog. Highlight was the large open plan kitchen and breakfast bar. Loved the garage for extra storage. Managed to get 3 cars (1 estate and 2 average size) on the enclosed drive. Stayed many years in Rosedale Abbey but would definitely recommend location with a fantastic pub ‘The Crown’."

"A very cute lodge in a tranquil setting. Comfortable beds, great shower facilities and a great welcome pack was provided. We enjoyed watching the wide variety of birds including pheasants and red kites. "

"Facilities were good, clean and comfortable. Pub and cafes in the village were good too, Very friendly and good quality food. Communication could have been clearer. And they were not happy with not moving the car from the large car park at checkout, despite new guests not being able to get into the cottage for at least 3 hours"

"The cottage was in a lovely location and first impressions were very good, but we had an issue with the central heating which didn’t get resolved and spent the majority of the break cold especially in the bedrooms."

"Good location in typically small cottage. Close to many things and 45 mins from everywhere else. Good host and well appointed accommodation with a nice little garden for children to play in. Pub 50 yards away. "
