"Beautiful house and a very friendly host who is clearly a great cook. Superb breakfast and lovely touches like a glass of fizz and canapés on arrival. Homemade sourdough bread is amazing. Will definitely use it again if back in the area. "
"Really nice couple of nights in the White Swan. Staff all lovely and friendly, nothing was an issue. Room all clean and fresh. Only one thing was the bed was too soft for us but everyone is different. Food was beautiful, limited menu and quite pricey but very nice. Parking was a bit limited. Couldn’t get parked at first. "Lovely property in the village of Pickering,parking available on premises.Lovely and clean inside and everything you would need for your break.Right in the heart of the village with shops in walking distance and close to the castle.
The only downside was communication,it took 3 emails then a phone call to get any response regarding staying an extra night.There needs to be a mirror in the front bedroom over the dressing table ,had to use the other guest room to dry my hair and then we had to move the big mirror near a socket plug.There needs to be an outside light outside the door at night ,we couldn’t see a thing when we arrived back at night.This is a downstairs apartment so bare in mind that there is noise from the upstairs guests especially if they have children running up and down the room.
You can’t get into your property till 4 pm but have to be out by 10am which is not even 24hours in the property!"
