"Exceptionally clean. Helpful staff. Great location. Despite being in a busy area I didn’t hear any noise. The rooms are tiny. Great for 1 but I would have struggled if I’d booked for a couple. I had a fab time and would definitely recommend for solo travellers"

"We were only informed that we could only use the pool for 1 hour pre booked slot a day on arrival. If we had known this in advance we probably would have chosen another hotel with more flexibility "

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and although the bathroom seemed a little worn it was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The rooms we had were an upgrade from the ones we booked, I think. The hotel was situated in a lovely area, with walking available along the river and the canal, and a couple of villages close by, containing decent pubs and restaurants. I would stay there again."

"Lovely hotel, Some staff very welcoming - the bar man and the waiter at breakfast went above and beyond. The room however was very warm and we could not get the air conditioning to work - even with the window open it was unbearable. The bathroom sink was a bit limescaley for my liking in what is classed as a high quality hotel. Overall the stay was lovely"

"Beautiful property over 3 floors - very comfortable, clean and relaxing, stunning view from lounge windows - can just sit, relax and people watch! Kitchen had everything we needed! Bedrooms and bathrooms lovely. Easy 20 mins walk into Bath and about 30 mins walk to train station. Close to supermarket, quaint theatre and bar/restaurant. Owners very helpful and friendly. Lovely place to stay for exploring Bath."
