"We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. The whole place is a little dated but honestly, that really added to the charm for us. "My family and I had a wonderful stay on Seneca Lake and really enjoyed being on the water, spending time on the dock, and relaxing in the sun. Both of my children enjoyed taking the kayaks out, jumping off the dock, and the private beach. Geneva was a 20 minute drive from the house and had some nice restaurants, and Cayuga and Canandaigua were not too far away to enjoy as well. "

"We love this hotel and the area. It’s located feet away from the lake and surrounded by a walking/bike path right outside of the hotel. The hotel has a lovely restaurant with a nice patio to enjoy a great meal. Get a water view room. You will enjoy looking at the area and lake a lot! There’s an ice cream stand just feet away too! There’s a few streets you can walk to with a nice variety of restaurants as well. Close to wineries as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! "
