"We arrived Friday 1300hrs and were told the Restaurant and the bar was closed for the day due to staff party ....the hotel is in middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere exceot the motorway. Nearest walkable shops etc are an hours walk. Saturday they made the bed refreshed the towels but not tea, coffee etc Sunday we came back to the hotel for dinner and some drinks at 1800hrs to be told the Restaurant and Bar were again shut :( on getting to our rooms neither had been serviced at all...

The area is quiet and safe, and the bed was clean and comfortable, but that is where the positives end. The bedroom feels miserable and shabby, with stark decor and old fashioned fittings, while the bathroom seriously needs updating and deep cleaning. There is no soap anywhere, no car park, the WiFi has no internet access, and the temperamental keycard...
