Incredible staff and location of the hotel. This hotel is situated in the center of the historic and retail shopping street. The neighborhood is bustling with activity during and relatively quiet at night. A nearby park in front of a church is easily accessible and the hotel provides a poop bag for those who have a dog.
My room with a single bed had a large window that opens up into a spacious area, allowing for fresh air and sunshine. The bathroom has up-to-date hardware with a bath and glass shower.
Overall, the public areas of the hotel are very clean, but the carpets on the third floor and in the elevator are worn and dirty. The dining area, however, is immaculate and the breakfast is exceptional (surcharge added).
The front reception is staffed 24/7 and everyone was so friendly, courteous, and helpful. I liked my stay so much that I requested a two-day extension.
