"This property was more than we had hoped for. Gorgeous view, beautiful pool, fully appointed house with all the amenities we needed. Our house manager Edgar Sequeira Ridriguez was outstanding. He was attentive, responsive and very knowledgeable about the area. We had no concern about safety and our group of six had the best experience for our first trip to Costa Rica. Pura Vida! "

"Unit is poorly maintained and dated Sparsely equipped and not clean No hot water in showers or kitchen Front door lock is broken and worked intermittently with jigging The dryer timer is broken so doesn’t shut off The main tv remote is broken Patio is rotting and sketchy Ice box has not been defrosted in quite awhile Alternatively the property grounds around the development are very nice and well maintained Absolutely beautiful pool area Good security and location is ideal The local tenants are very friendly "

"Our family had an amazing stay at Villa del Bosque! Guillermo, Alessandra and the team were all so welcoming, attentive and quick to respond to our questions and provide suggestions for activities, places to eat and beaches to visit. The villa itself is even more beautiful in person than what you see in the pictures. There were 8 of us in total. Everyone had their own room with ensuites. The villa is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need to cook, two sets of washer/dryers, and an incredible outdoor bbq space, to name a few things. It had all the comforts of home. The views from the gorgeous pool and hot tub were incredible. We had the best time and would absolutely book with Star Villas again. "

"This house is great! If you’re worried the view won’t live up to the pictures—don’t be. It’s absolutely incredible, and somehow it gets better the longer you’re there. The house is for sale, so the owner may not be investing in updates at the moment, but honestly, you won’t care.Yes, it could use a little love in spots—maybe a hinge tightened or a door adjusted—but nothing major. The outdoor space and the view more than make up for any small interior issues. And even those are barely worth mentioning.The bathrooms are beautiful, the glass is clean and plentiful, and the kitchen is huge—plenty of space for all types of cooks. We had everything we needed to make great meals and ended up cooking five out of seven nights.The home sits at the top of the mountain, around 350' above sea level, and offers a stunning 300-degree view. The pool is perfect, and the outdoor kitchen is dialed in. My family of 10 stayed here for a week and loved every minute."
