"Eric was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was immaculately clean. The unit itself was very clean and high tech, with a great AC unit. The walk to the beautiful beach takes 3 minutes, but there's a ditch crossing along the way that might be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues."

"The staff were friendly and the amenities including the pool and restaurant are great. Really enjoyed our one night stay. The room was spacious, but found it wasn’t as clean as we expected. Noted what looked like blood on the floor and coffee marks on the side table, but overall the stay was very pleasant. Would definitely return. "

"This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked."

"This is a wonderful hotel. They organised our transfer from the airport and we were able to buy breakfast when we arrived and use the pool until our room was ready in the afternoon. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town, although there are lots of restaurants closer. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Del Sol."

"Amazing property, wonderful staff…my only gripe would be that there isn’t an adults only pool. When getting away from kids, it would be nice to have an adults only area with no kids allowed. All in all though, we loved it. Room was great, food was amazing, and service was top notch. We’ll still be back…possibly just with our kids next time instead. "

"Very attentive and friendly staff. Sunset view was beautiful. Having a regular shuttle to the beach and restaurant on site was a great asset for this stay. The only thing I missed was an all inclusive breakfast that we had at all of our other stays in Costa Rica. "

"Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything "

"Let me start with the positives, the only thing accurate about the advertisement of the facility is the description of the 4 pools and the amazing view. Yes a picture is worth a thousand s words. The shuttle does run continuously as stated 7am - 10pm. There are a few amazing staff member that go well above and beyond. Maria and Gaston pool and restaurant bar tenders great, Jean who runs the romantic dinner and works dinning amazing, Olman towel station /shuttle driver great. Not so positive,...

"Hidden gem. We were up in the mountains where it rained so decided to spend last night of our trip in cocoa Beach area. Rooms spotless host amazing and the best part as an animal lover was the rescue animals that are on the property. I have two myself. Will definitely be back."

"We had a wonderful time at Suitree. We arrived early on a very hot day. They allowed us to utilize the pool and swim up bar while waiting for our room. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Overall pleasant stay but don't expect lush green trees in March. I still highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a unique experience near Liberia. "

"The proximity of the property to Ocotal beach was great- just a short walk. The dome are accessed through a few or a number of short stair cases that are built into the hillside nestled in the trees making the bird watching on the loungers or in the soaker pool phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable making the best use of the space. The air conditioner worked very well to the point that we were chilly in the middle of the night- a first on a trip down south. "Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very nice, clean, and exactly what you need for a comfortable stay with an incredible view! I’m not a morning person but I never missed a great locally inspired breakfast- included with the stay. The hotel is located in a great spot for the view, close enough to the beach for a quick trip there and back, and tucked away just enough to give you that local feel away from the tourist madness. Golf cart recommended and it is really enjoyable...
