"Charming hotel in great location, walkable to restaurants. Double bed room was spacious and comfortable, loved all the natural light. Street parking was not an issue, although did not realize the 3 hr max was for a 24 hour period so plan accordingly."

"The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because sometime during the night, the power went off at our hotel. I kept waiting for someone to call us or knock at our door....something to tell us what was going on. After 2 hours, I finally walked down stairs (we were on 5th/top level) with my flashlight. The guy at the desk said "it was an area wide outage, we're hoping it will be on soon". Hotel across the street was on, the stop light 1/4 of a block away was on. No apologies, no notice to us, no mention of compensating us."

10/10 Excellent
"Our family of four enjoyed this vacation rental. It was clean and well stocked. The location was an easy walk to downtown Santa Rosa, and the location was really convenient for day trips to the coast and to wine country. The outside sitting area was great also. We would definitely rent this property again when in Santa Rosa."

Downtown Urban Flat - 92 Walking Score

Downtown Urban Flat - 92 Walking Score

10/10 Excellent
"We spent the weekend at this charming urban retreat and can’t wait to go back!  Everything about this unit made for a perfect get-away. While the building itself is old, the owners took full advantage of the quirks and layout to ensure guests are comfortably immersed in the history of Santa Rosa… a brilliant way to blend into the historic downtown location. The fully-equipped kitchen tempted us to cook, but with so many great restaurants (including Grossman’s, a legit-but-foodie Jewish Deli) within blocks, we didn’t really take advantage. The historic neighborhood welcomed us to explore. Leaving the home for an evening stroll, we could go along the old railroad walking/biking path alongside the water or turn the other direction and be in the center of everything.  Off street parking is available, but not necessary as the home is 3 blocks from the Santa Rosa SMART train station. The Sunday farmers market is a short walk, just beyond Railroad Square shops.  The property manager, Allen, was so sweet and helpful. When we called about a minor issue with the streaming tv on Saturday night, he answered right away and got us sorted out in a minute.  A family with their baby stayed in the unit above us but we didn’t hear a single squeak of a floor board. Can’t recommend this place enough!"

"Absolutely adorable and comfortable and well appointed cottage! It was such a treat to have coffee and creamer the first morning and an extra treat to find some frozen treats in the freezer as well. Allan is incredibly responsive and helpful as a host and I definitely plan to come back!"

"The hotel is lovely, such charming cozy historic decor. Very cozy bedding, that’s the most important factor to me, I love to sleep. TV placement was a little funny, very high up on an armoire that also served as the closet. We were pleasantly surprised there was a small balcony patio which we enjoyed the sunset on. "
