We enjoyed the Hop On Hop Off bus to visit wineries and especially loved going to Ayrburn which is near Arrowtown. Loved the vibe of Queenstown. The Earnslaw to Mitre Peak for the gourmet barbecue is amazing. Had fun going on the gondola and luge.

We wished we had more time to spend in Queenstown! But our one full day was awesome with a great Milford Sound Fly-Cruise-Fly experience in the morning, a hike and time in Queenstown in the afternoon until our departure in late afternoon.

What a place with amazing natural beauty. It's so easy to get to from the east coast of Australia. I didn't realise that it only takes 3 hours to fly over and you get a complete change of scenery. We will be returning soon for sure.

Queenstown continues to be overly busy at food outlets, adventure tourism, drinking & overpriced souveneirs (& not amazing Ferg Bergers). You have so much more!. How about promoting the gardens, and local easy family friendly walks.

Queenstown is very pretty with beautiful clean air. You can feel it going down to your lungs. The lake water is very clear from the melting snow. It is a pretty town with a comfortable vibe to just sit around the lake and relax.

From Queenstown I took the helicopter flight over the Earnslaw Burn and a trip up the Dart River by Jetboat. Also climbed the Queenstown Hill track. All these were firsts for me and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip.
