This place had a sensational view from kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms! Great house for a family or 2 or 3 couples. Outdoor spa was a nice touch, less than a 5 mins drive to town centre. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Open wood fire, view to die for, lovely wooden feel and a spa in the backyard overlooking a panoramic view. Great to come back again. Only point I would make is the main king bed mattress is close to renew time. Thanks again.

Wakatipu Gem was a comfortable home for 6 adults for 8 nights over the New Year period. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made use of the BBQ, allowing us to eat at home when we were not eating at the wonderful restaurants of Queenstown. The dining and living area were very suitable for our group. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite was very modern and clean. The laundry was great, with an outside clothesline and an indoor clothes hoist. The hot tub was only used once due to weather being hot, wet or windy, but if the weather was cool, it would have been amazing. The house isn't super modern but is clean and comfortable with little touches such as games, books and blankets in the living room. The bottle of wine supplied was appreciated. Walking into the town centre was quite easy while there was access to bus stops down stairs just a few houses up the road. If you didn't want to walk uphill or up stairs to get home, Ubers were quite reasonable. The view from this house would be hard to beat, even when the rain clouds came through. Overall we had a lovely stay in a comfortable house, with no real issues.

Cosy with character, this little big home delivered everything for everyone… Our family with two grandchildren found the position with the most incredible views, even from your bathrooms an Absoloutely great find. Sitting in a hot tub watching the sky with amazing sunsets was breath taking.. Beds gave a blissful sleep, and a very cosy home.. We would stay here again. Trish ☃️

Excellent location and quality. This property has the most amazing huge beds with quality linen. A well appointed kitchen and large dining area. Lounge has comfy couches a chairs with a big tv. The sunroom is a lovely place for some quiet time. Hot tub a huge bonus. Amazing views from EVERY room in the house!!

We loved staying here. The views were amazing and the garden was a lush green and purple. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the town centre. Stayed three nights in the wakitapu gem. This place was spectacular. The views were breathtaking. To finish our stay relaxing in the afternoon with a nice drink sitting in our chairs overlooking the whole of Queenstown was a dream come true. What more could you ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wakatipu Gem. Vicky was excellent with communication and very responsive when we had a question. Easy entry through a lock box. The kitchen of the home was thoroughly equipped. Very comfortable beds and very nice bedding. Very clean unit. Excellent value for the money, especially considering what hotel rooms cost. Sitting in the back yard looking at the amazing view never grew old! We really liked the location. We had no idea that Queenstown itself would be so overrun with tourists. The location on Panorama Terrace gave us peace and quiet. We had a car. Easy access to shopping at 5 Mile Center (Pak 'n Save, Countdown, Kmart and gas stations, shops and restaurants). Easy access to roads for day trips to Wanaka, Glenorchy, Arrowtown, and Banncockburn/Cromwell. Highly recommended!
