"Room was kept clean, as was the rest of the building. Access to the restaurant and bar was great. The hotel itself was also nearby lots of other places that was nice for our stay, such as other restaurants, the bus stop, grocery store and the beach. It was a nice place to stay away from the busyness of Edinburgh, but still access the city through a 20-30 minute but ride. Only negative was the mattress wasn't in amazing condition"

"The neighborhood is lovely. I took the walking trail next to the high school and the golf course to the portobello seaside each evening for the sunset. There's a delicious little takeout breakfast spot about 5 minute walk away called cafe 42. I had a breakfast wrap with haggis on my last morning. Definitely check out some restaurants and pubs down in portobello - Dougal's has an open folk music jam on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Lägenheten bar bra planerad o extra plus att det bar två badrum. Mycket hög standard i badrummen och köket med stor och öppen köksdel, fullt utrustad och med bardisk. Tvåvånings sängen var mycket skön att sova i. Tyvärr var de större sängarna av äldre modell och madrassernas fjädring gjorde att sängarna uppfattades som ”skålade” och ”lutade”. Gjorde det svårt att sova i ”sin egen” sovställning."
