"Great value for the money, incredible location in the middle of everything, only a few blocks to the Quartier des spectacles, St-Laurent ("the Main") and walking distance to Old Montreal. Rooms are basic but adequate. However, check-in took over 30 minutes as several other guests in line had issues with their reservations. "No curtains on the windows only white shades. The entire room is white including the shades. Curtains would soften the look. Otherwise a lovely room with a nice view of the ocean."

"I liked that is was 2 bedrooms and very cozy and clean. You have to really pay attention on where you can and can not park on the street.The hotel does offer a number to call to reach out to them if you have questions about the parking."

"We stayed in the little cabin beside the Auberge. It has two small bedrooms and is suitable for 2 adults but would be crowded with more. It has everything you need and offers a beautiful view over the St. Lawrence. The grounds are immaculately kept. Great location in a quiet community just outside La Malbaie. We loved out few days there. "

"We were there for the eclipse. The owners gave great advice as to where to watch and where to avoid. Our room was clean and comfortable. Both breakfasts were delicious and the owners were very friendly. Highly recommended."

"Charming old stone storybook house, sweet and friendly proprietors. It has the feel of a youth hostel, with a little outside garden, piano, shared bath and kitchen access. You get to old town via a walk and metro ride, and it's just fine if you are not in a rush. The vieux neigborhood surrounding the 'refuge' is interesting and there's a walking path nearby where you can see all the people who live here walking their dogs and so on....delightful!"
