"Although it says auberge and cabins in the name it is a bit of a misnomer as it is really more like a campsite and hostel. We were surprised that our chalet did not have a bathroom. We knew after booking that there was no potable water and had to bring our own or purchase on site. Although we were told this we did not know that bathrooms and showers were communal. Beautiful surroundings but just be sure that you are looking for more of a ‘camping’ experience and not one of a hotel or auberge "

Great hosts that made sure everything was perfect and helped with information of things to do and places to go. Close to Quebec City, tubing and skiing. Highly recommended, will be back."

"What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. "We had a wonderful time. The chalet was very clean and well equipped. It sits on a slope and is very private, surrounded by pine trees. We were able to see deers walking close by. Patrick is a very good host, always available. I highly recommend."

"C'était parfait pour nous. Super charmant comme endroit. A 20 mins seulement du parc Mégantic, place en haut de la côte ou qu'on peux voir très bien la voie lactée. Nous avons adoré. "Fantastic place to stay especially for say a twosome who are just needing a break. The cottage is a real log style two floor cabin. Very rustic and yet very modern and very clean. The location is very quiet but Hotel Sacacomie is nearby and a good place to eat out. There are fish in the river too that runs at the back of the cottage. The folks who manage it (Dany, Sophia and Carla) are always in touch."
