Wake up to the sound of waves. Your beach is literally steps away.

Flor del Mar is one of the few complexes in Bávaro where the beach isn't a short walk; it's right outside your door. The parking lot is beach sand. You'll be sleeping less than a minute from the warm, turquoise waters and white sands of Los Corales, one of Punta Cana's most beloved and well-kept beaches, complete with complimentary umbrellas and lounge chairs reserved for guests.

THE APARTMENT
This bright, comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the living room has its own A/C unit, essential for those warm Caribbean afternoons. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a complete set of dishes. Free high-speed WiFi and Smart TV are included, along with a full set of bed linens and both bath and beach towels. Electricity and all utilities are included in your rate, no surprises.

THE BEACH
Los Corales is a private, calm, and well-maintained stretch of coastline. The complex has a friendly beach staff and a relaxed atmosphere, far from the crowded resort beaches. You'll find two beachside cafés within a 2-minute walk for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

THE LOCATION
Everything you need is within walking distance: supermarkets, fruit stands, bakeries, a pharmacy, an exchange office, ATMs, bars, and restaurants. A 20-minute drive takes you to a full shopping center with a supermarket, banks, shops, and a cinema. A local tour office near the complex can arrange excursions, activities, and airport transfers. For adventure seekers, Macao Bay, famous for its wild scenery, world-class surfing, and fresh grilled lobster straight from the ocean, is just 20 minutes away.

The Flor del Mar complex has 24-hour security and free on-site parking for guests.

A NOTE ON SARGASSUM (JUNE TO AUGUST)
Like all beaches on this coastline, Los Corales can experience seasonal Sargassum seaweed between June and August. The amount varies day to day and is entirely natural. Our beach staff works daily to maintain the shoreline. If conditions are less than ideal during your stay, we are happy to point you to nearby beaches protected by natural rock formations where the water stays crystal clear year-round. Just ask, and I will gladly help!

My host Darleny was Awesome! Even before I arrived she was very helpful and accommodating with all my questions. She had an unexpected issue with her place, but made up for it with a reduced price. The apartment is on the 1st floor and very easy to gain entrance to the place. The major bonus was the restaurant right across the road/sand a 30 second walk and the amazing beach 30 seconds more away with ample beach chairs and grassy umbrellas. The bar servers come to your chair and delivers your drinks to you! No need to get up if you’re relaxing! I recommend this spot 110 out 10! I will absolutely rebook here!!!

The property was incredible all the way around. The location was unbelievable. Literally steps from the beach, restaurants and shopping. The apartment was small but cozy. Enough space to be comfortable all week! Darleny was an amazing host from beginning to end. She was very responsive and helpful. Not only would I recommend but I have already made plans to return!

Amazing!

56 steps from the door to the beach! 3 restaurants next door and another down the street. The accommodations were perfect! The host was quick to reply with any questions and even help arrange a ride from the airport! Perfect vacation!!!

A fine stay

I think everything was close to being as depicted in the property listing. Bedrooms were nice, bedding was clean, and air conditioning worked amazingly. In the kitchen, there were a few mite looking insects. Thankfully, didn’t see them in any other room. The bathrooms could use a good scrubbing, particularly the floor tiles/grout. And faucets/sinks could use a tune up/ replacement, including kitchen sink. At no fault of the owner’s, the larger bedroom remains very bright throughout the night. It shares a window with an alley that has a light on all night, making sleep difficult. Bring a sleeping mask. The property listing does include mention of the sea grass season, and it is serious! There was a mountain of sea grass piled high a few properties down on the beach. The property manager/owner was very nice, had good communication, and accommodated a later checkout. Thank you!

Accommodating

Everything was great with only one exception. The air conditioner in the main area did not work. I circumvented the problem with rubbing the air from both bedrooms with doors open when needed. Other than that, everything was fine.

My sister and I stayed in this property for a week. It’s right outside Bavaro beach. It’s an older property. So if you’re considering staying here, plan for that. We enjoyed the restaurant next door. The locals were very kind. Our host, Darleny, was very prompt with communication, as we had some questions during our stay.

Our unit was just as advertised, needing a bit of tweaking but very clean and well located for The beach.. and other than a bit of seagrass it was gorgeous.Delaney was wonderful, so helpful to us, fast response. Some nights were Very Loud , with music from the nearby bars. The restaurants were great, Cats Corner, la Bruja, Citrus, just to name a few. Prices are not cheap but this is post pandemic times, so understandable.. the little town nearby is ok, but the streets are very littered, and the roads are full of potholes.. Overall a good holiday spot and close to the airport.

Host - Deleny was outstanding

Walk out the door directly onto the sand -only 3 doors from the beach! The condo property and the beach are maintained daily, raking , sweeping and beach sea grass/sargasso cleanup. The beach has tiki hut style umbrellas and lounge chairs provided free of charge (though we did generously tip McKenzie, the young man who daily set up and removed our chairs) There are several restaurants adjacent to the Los Corales Beach, providng beach front dining at Casa Blanco or Flamingo, as well as a few options for grilled foods, French fries, hots dogs, etc. The Flamingo restaurant also has waiters serving food and beverages to your beach chairs. This cute little condo was perfect for my adult daughter and myself, with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths. This location cannot be beat. Host, Deleny, was so helpful and informative - providing recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The small kitchen provided anything you'd need if you wanted to cook. We only made coffee and utilized the refrigerator in the condo - no cooking on vacay for me! We VERY MUCH appreciated the water dispenser, with an extra 5 gallon bottle, in the unit as we watched guests staying elsewhere regularly haul big jugs of water. There are many restaurants and grocers within a 10 min walk, and if you book excursions, the pickup location is just a 6-8 minute walk from the condo. We also appreciated that Los Corales Village feels safe/secure as there are several manned gates providing security. I highly recommend Deleny and her unit 1D in Los Corales Village,

Right on the beach

Great little spot for the price, the door is maybe 20 yards from the beach. My husband just had ankle surgery so being on the first floor was really nice. Several local restaurants so close even he could walk to them. Plenty of room to park. Felt safe. I would go back!

Highly Recommended for Budget Traveler

This place is as advertised. Located right on the beach and a short stroll to restaurants and bars. Never needed to use the kitchen. It would be too small for 4 adults but perfect for two. Never even needed to contact the host for anything. Like most latin american countries there was no hot water for showering. If you are traveling to Punta Cana on a budget, put this place at the top of your list.

What a relief, everything about this place is as Advertised. Steps away from the beach, restaurants, local markets; First night there was a Beach party at the restaurant 50 yds away from the Apartment, great food and good vibes.. The Apartment Rep. Was helpful with all questions without being a Hawk, which was truly appreciated.. Will stay there again!!

Mrs. Darleny was a wonderful host. She treated us like family. The apartment we rented from her was exactly like she described online, if not better. She helped make our first experience to Punta Cuna unforgettable! Thank you so much! 😘

An amazing location, with one of the best prices you can find on the beach !

my friends and I, a mid 30's crowd from Canada, stayed here for a week, I have family living in Bavaro, and everyone was very impressed and surprised at the price for the week in such a good location. The space is great, One bedroom is very large and the second is big enough. The living room/kitchen area isn't huge, but we were never inside. The entire front wall is glass doors that open wide so you can get a really nice breeze. Lawnchair use on the beach is super easy and the workers there would bring chairs over to your hut very quickly , coffee on the beach every morning was absolutely wonderful. we got there a half an hour early and had the opportunity to meet the housekeeper who was funny and sweet. Darleny was very easy to get in touch with and so sweet and accommodating. We had no complaints or real reasons to "need" her but any questions i had were answered within minutes. I would highly recommend this property to anyone (unless you want to be inside a lot- if you are 4 people who all watch tv you may be squished on the coach. but who stays beach front and watches tv!?) Thanks Darleny! we will be back next year for sure
