"Pictures of the room is what had me. Unfortunately that was not the case when I got there. There was a smell of stale water in the air, gnats, in room. Housekeeping forgot to stock my bathroom amenities, no comforter on bed, water was cold for bath. No WiFi internet was horrible and all the good restaurants have you make reservations to eat, not good. Do not go if you’re looking to kick back and get work done and need internet. I don’t like to complain, but this spot was not for me. They do have a nice pool area for the children if you’re traveling with the kiddos. They have a nature trail for the morning walks. Huge property beautiful scenery. If you want to be off the grid you should visit."

"The hotel was clean and well-kept overall, with a friendly and helpful staff. I felt incredibly safe thanks to visible security throughout the resort. I loved that the property offered different atmospheres—there was an energetic pool area with great music for celebrating, and a quieter pool area for a relaxing, calm escape. My favorite meals were at the Italian restaurant and the steak house. I would recommend this resort because the beach is absolutely beautiful and it’s affordable for someone on a budget like myself."
