Really nice place to take your family and enjoy beautiful beach. Stuff was amazing never been at the resort where workers would entertain all the guests by dancing and playing games with them. Buffet was good everyone will find something to their liking. I do recommend making reservations to the restaurants same day you arrive.

The grounds are very nice. Staff always super friendly. The room was very comfortable. The food to die for. Best part was the adventure with the Buggy's...the cave with the river and the beach. The hotel was great. The employees were excellent and very kind. The food at the restaurants was great, and it was very easy to do the reservations when needed. There is room to improve regarding the pool amenities, the nighttime shows around the hotel, and the bowling alley. In addition, a colder temperature inside the restaurants and hotel rooms would have helped improve the experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue and Sand Resort in Punta Cana. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options every day. The pools were beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The customer service was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. One of the best things about this resort is that the restaurants do not require reservations, which made dining much more convenient and stress-free. We also loved that activities like bowling were included, providing fun entertainment without any extra cost. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, beautiful pools, and plenty of included activities, this is a fantastic choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. On the first day we had to request for our mini bar to be filled, after that someone showed up each day. The cleaning ladies would forget wash cloths and some towels each day, we would call for the items we needed. We had a good stay at Ocean Blue. The property was beautiful, well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The room was always spotless, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The staff throughout the resort was very kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One area that could be improved is the entertainment. The animation team and the bartenders at the main bars could have been more energetic, interactive, and fun. We were expecting a livelier atmosphere, especially around the pool and bars. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. While it wasn’t an outstanding or exceptional stay, it was definitely a good one, and we appreciated the hospitality and cleanliness of the resort.

The service and staff attention were absolutely wonderful; everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. However, the room's infrastructure deeply affected our experience. The air conditioning did not work at all, and to make matters worse, the ceiling fan broke as well, leaving us completely without ventilation. Although we reported the issue, the hotel's response was extremely delayed: they only offered us a room change 24 hours before our checkout, when our trip was basically over. It is truly a shame that the excellent work of the staff is overshadowed by such a severe lack of room maintenance.

Beautiful property with spectacular views. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Punta Cana. The hotel was clean, the food was great, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful—although a few employees came across as rude and not very welcoming. Our main complaint was the A/C. Our room stayed in the 80s the entire time, and none of the common areas—including the restaurants and game areas—seemed to have functioning air conditioning either. It was uncomfortable for guests, and I honestly felt for the employees, especially those working in food service, having to work in those conditions. Management should really address these maintenance issues. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay and enjoyed our time in Punta Cana.

We absolutely loved ocean blue. Everyone on the property was so helpful. They did seaweed clean up often so the beach was always nice. Good food options, can get repetitive as most options seem to come from the same kitchen but no complaints. Loved all the cats on site and pinky!! Beautiful property, beautiful rooms (we had resort facing balcony, LOVED it) the pools are huge and perfect depth and temp. The entertainment every night was awesome. The activities by the pool were great. Bar tenders were friendly. It is on the map to get picked up for excursions. We miss being there already and cannot wait to return. Just my boyfriend and I there for 10 days and it’s now at the top of our “chill” vacations we’ve been on. I can only talk great about this place I genuinely don’t think I have any complaints. I was nervous coming in knowing there are other resorts with more known names but I’m very glad we gave ocean blue a chance. Front lobby is beautiful, good location to go north and see Macao beach too. I miss it so much already.

We traveled from July 1–5 as a family group of 16 people. Upon arrival, we noticed the lobby air conditioning was not working. That night, our room was also very hot because the AC was not working. This happened not only to us but to all of our family's rooms. When we requested a room change, many other guests were also waiting for the same reason. We had to change rooms twice, and the problem extended beyond the rooms to several restaurants and common areas. Only the steakhouse felt reasonably comfortable. This was our second stay at this resort. Our first visit was excellent, and this was also our fifth trip to Punta Cana resorts. We understand that an AC issue can happen in one room, but not throughout so much of the property. On the positive side, the buffet and most restaurants served good food. The steakhouse and the Italian restaurant were our favorites. We also found it inconvenient that the pool food truck only allowed one hamburger per person, even when we were taking food to another family member. Overall, the service seems to have declined since our last visit. However, the staff remained friendly, helpful, and professional, and they were the ones who made our stay enjoyable despite the inconveniences.
