"I waited like four hours to get into this property. I want a refund couldn’t stay cause there was bugs. Couldn’t even turn the TV on had to book another room. after like three hours, they gave me a code for a door that needed it key. It was ridiculous. Could not use credit cards in the area. Had to go to an ATM. I’m trying to figure out if I was double charged right now."

"We were in apt #2 of Casa Pelayo Cleanliness: The shower hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It had hair and dirt. We contacted management who apologized and said cleaning would come the next day. They didn't. The floors, of course, got progressively dirty throughout our 4 day trip but there was no broom and "extra cleaning" would have come with a fee so we ended up wearing shoes inside. Towels were never changed....for a four-day. False description: Speaking of towels, there were no beach towels (though said to be available in the description) so I spent $23 for 3 at Walmart. Not good. They said there are places for laundry "nearby" in the description. What they did didn't say is that they are not in walking distance and that laundry places' reviews are horrendous. Living: There is virtually no storage for clothing/items. There are 2 nightstands in the bedroom and a built-in shelf that is poorly built and cracking under weight/pressure. This is for an apt that is supposed to house up to 4 people (again, they didn't replace towels despite me requesting). There is also no powered ventilation in the bathroom despite it sitting off the bedroom so you might want to take quick showers and flush a lot if you have to do a number two. It's a street level apartment so you will hear cars and music loud and clear. Hoses for all 6 apartments' AC units run thru the bathroom ceiling so condensation will drip on you when you're in there. The indoor shutters don't work well."

"We stayed for two nights with kids. The hotel has many fun activities for the whole family. The staff is so friendly (Housekeeping, front desk, pool staff, and etc! All very friendly) We did a cabana on our pool day, and our server Gabriel was awesome. Very attentive and allowed us to have separate bills. He was very patient and kind to the kids in our group. A+ Service from Gabriel. Our only pool complaint would be that there is not enough seating to accommodate all the guests. We really had no choice but to do a cabana as there were zero chairs available. We were lucky to snag the last cabana which is smaller and less private than the others. The location was great. We didn't realize it was comic con at the convention center that weekend, so the traffic was really bad on Saturday but the non-event days were fine. I love that this hotel allows walking distance to T-Mobile district which is fun for kids and adults. They also have a shuttle to OSJ, I didn't get to use it so I can't review it. But it was nice that it was an option. I'd stay here again. "
