"Pillow had lots of visible hair (not mine) on it and I noticed it as soon as I got into the room. The front desk staff was apologetic and provided me with new pillows. I checked in at night so it seemed that maybe housekeeping had left for the day already and I was asked to go to the lobby to receive the replacement pillows. "We were in town for one night after a late basketball game and just needed a place to wash up and sleep. The hotel isn’t new, but it was clean. There was a slight stale smell when we first walked into the room, but I carry Lysol, and once I sprayed the surfaces and beds, it wasn’t noticeable anymore. "I gave an overall Ok rating because one of the reasons we stay at an Embassy Suites is the happy hour and breakfasts. Both mornings clean plates, utensils and tables were scarce. Food on the buffet was always low. Food was very good and courteous and staff where clearly working hard but they were very under staffed. Room was great and clean. Would recommend."

The room felt more like an old apartment that had not been properly cleaned or maintained in decades. The reviews and photos did not match our experience.
