"This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!"

"We stayed at the Royal hotel on the way to Butlins Minehead. The hotel is well situated and free parking on a spacious carpark. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can not fault the food in the bar or at breakfast. Family room was clean and spacious. We have stayed here on several occasions and will do again. "
