"If for some odd reason you find yourself in Pistoia, I can heartily recommend the Locanda San Marco. The staff is absolutely wonderful - they genuinely seem to care about their guests. And even if you don't have a need for two bedrooms, go ahead and splurge on the Baroni Suite. You'll be glad you did. I believe the Locanda is an old palazzo and is certainly built castle solid. "We were greeted by a young lady who spoke excellent english. The room we had was on the top floor and was very clean. We spent one comfortable night at the hotel and will return next year when the blues festival is on. The staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money."
