"I loved my stay at the Parker Guesthouse. It felt like visiting in a lovely home with a gracious host. The person at the front desk when I checked in was kind and professional and gave me a brief history about the houses. My room in the main house was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and furnished beautifully. The living room, kitchen, and guest dining rooms were elegant but my favorite area was the garden. It's a peaceful oasis in the city where in October, there were still flowers...

"No refrigerator in the room, or coffee machine. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hit and miss. We had to ask for more eggs and sausage because the containers were empty. Staff should be on top of that. It was an hour before close of breakfast."

"liked that there was onsite parking and security doors all around"

"Location is very good. Breakfast was okay."

"Excellent experience!"

"staying there tonight again"

"If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner."

"We stayed one night (on Halloween!) and had a great stay. The front desk staff were very nice and explained about the free parking available. We parked in the back which was just a short walk around the block. I felt like my vehicle would be safe, as it was an alleyway that was well-lighted and had video camera present. I appreciated the mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sun block-out curtains. Everything worked fine and the room itself was very clean. The only thing that I did notice...

"Hotel is beautiful inside. The problem was parking. It took me about an hour to find anything available. Front desk employees were very nice but i wont be coming back."

"This hotel is in an absolutely horrible neighborhood. Lots of people doing drugs and living out of cars and on the street. It felt incredibly dangerous to be out, even in the daytime. That fun looking 'BE AMAZING' bar? Nowhere to be found. It was closed. There were no on-site communal areas except for the very small lobby. The hot water? I got a note on my second day that it would be out for an undetermined amount of time and was offered a $20 refund per night which, I was told by the...

"Very clean hotel. Hilton standard. Gym had excellent views and modern equipment."

"Book this hotel whenever you’re looking for a place in Union Square area. It’s walkable to shopping, attractions, cable cars as well as metro. It’s one block over from the metro station and you want something convenient from the to/from the airport, this is the place. Another thing I would like to note, this is an older hotel and doesn’t have some of the main attractions. The AC is a window unit and was very noisy, especially at night when sleeping. Otherwise it was good location for the price."

"The hotel is clean but not in a very good neighborhood to walk in once it’s dark. The rooftop bar has a nice view but a bit pricey."
