"I loved my stay at the Parker Guesthouse. It felt like visiting in a lovely home with a gracious host. The person at the front desk when I checked in was kind and professional and gave me a brief history about the houses. My room in the main house was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and furnished beautifully. The living room, kitchen, and guest dining rooms were elegant but my favorite area was the garden. It's a peaceful oasis in the city where in October, there were still flowers...

"liked that there was onsite parking and security doors all around"

"Great hotel, no bar or restaurant but Close to everything."

"We stayed one night (on Halloween!) and had a great stay. The front desk staff were very nice and explained about the free parking available. We parked in the back which was just a short walk around the block. I felt like my vehicle would be safe, as it was an alleyway that was well-lighted and had video camera present. I appreciated the mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sun block-out curtains. Everything worked fine and the room itself was very clean. The only thing that I did notice...

"This hotel is in an absolutely horrible neighborhood. Lots of people doing drugs and living out of cars and on the street. It felt incredibly dangerous to be out, even in the daytime. That fun looking 'BE AMAZING' bar? Nowhere to be found. It was closed. There were no on-site communal areas except for the very small lobby. The hot water? I got a note on my second day that it would be out for an undetermined amount of time and was offered a $20 refund per night which, I was told by the...

"The hotel is clean but not in a very good neighborhood to walk in once it’s dark. The rooftop bar has a nice view but a bit pricey."

"it was quiet"

"The hotel allowed complimentary early check-in which was fantastic. They held our luggage after check-out so that we could roam around down-town a little. There is a BART station just across the street so that was great for easy transit. However, perhaps since we stayed on Saturday 31st Oct (Halloween), the hotel was extremely noisy with seemingly a bunch of drunks making unbearable loud noises at all hours of the night. We did not get any rest!! It was awful. The next morning for breakfast,...

"The property is walking distance from the Castro Theater and the gay scene. A few steps from the “Church” metro station so it is easy to move around the city. Property is an old building and you share shower and toilet with the other guests. The only bad note I have is that, there are people living in some of the rooms. It is a extended living kinda of situation."

"An amazing boutique hotel right on Market Street and 15 minute walk to The Castro. Very highly recommended 2 star accommodation so keep in mind there is no air conditioning or fridge in the room. Still, very good value for money and l would stay there again."

"Another comfortable stay"
